Description

The BSc Agriculture Education program is a general agriculture-centered program. It is designed to equip students to teach the core subject of general agriculture. Students can also undertake practices or services involving the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of general agriculture.

Requirements for Admission

The BSc Agriculture Education program is intended for WASSCE/ SSSCE, Agriculture/Forestry Certificate Holders, etc. Applicants need at least Grade D in Chemistry. They also need two passes. One pass should be in a course with at least a D. Choose any two from: General Agric/Biology, Animal Husbandry, Crop Husbandry, Fisheries, Forestry, Horticulture, Physics, and Elective Mathematics. This is along with the general university requirements.

Cut Off Aggregates

The 2024/2025 academic year ranges from 6 to 24.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of BSc Agriculture Education can be employed as Teachers in the basic and second cycle schools. They can also work as agricultural extension Officers. Graduates become Rural Development practitioners. Additionally, they can serve as Project Officers in banks, NGOs, Rural Development Businesses, and Commercial Farms.
