Chris Riedy is the new head of Twitter’s advertising sales

Chris Riedy, who has been with the platform for over 10 years, now becomes the head of advertising sales at Twitter.

The new Twitter has found its head of advertising sales. The micro-blogging platform’s vice president- EMEA Chris Riedy is now the head of ad sales.

He has been with the platform for over 10 years. He joined as a sales manager in the US.
Chris joined Twitter in 2012 and prior to that, he led the Business Development team at Wikia where he was focused on building sustainable revenue-driving partnerships with strategic entities.

Earlier in his career, Chris co-founded the venture-backed start-up PhotoVoo! focused on revolutionizing creative expression and content sharing, led business development and product marketing at iWin, Inc, and held sales and business development leadership positions at NexTag and LookSmart.

Chris received his BA from Denison University in Granville, and his MBA from Santa Clara University.

Apart from a new appointment, there’s another update on Twitter. Platform chief Elon Musk announced that he is pausing Twitter Blue’s launch yet again.

Elon Musk said it will not be launched until there is high confidence in stopping impersonation.
