KATE Garraway was left gasping in horror after her son Billy was thrown from his horse when the animal broke wind.
Billy, 11, was doing his first solo canter on a horse called Banjo when it suddenly kicked its back legs into the air and farted.
The school boy was thrown into the air before landing on the floor of his indoor riding class.
Mum-of-two Kate, 54, caught the moment on film and could be heard shouting: “Oh! Okay, okay!”
The footage suddenly goes wobbly before cutting off as the Good Morning Britain star races to her son’s aid.
Thankfully, Billy was not injured and Kate has now shared the unfortunate incident with her 1million followers on Instagram.
You just never know what’s going to happen when horses are involved.”
Writing alongside her upload, Kate said that both Billy and her elder child, 15-year-old daughter Darcey, are keen horse riders.
She commented: “Darcey & Billy are are glued to our brilliant competitors in the @olympics equestrian events.
“Not least because as @benshephardofficial & I were saying yesterday on @gmb you just never know what’s going to happen when horses are involved.
“This was Billy’s first attempt at a canter & poor Banjo’s wind meant he came a cropper (listen with sound up & you can actually hear it!) .
“Better out than in ! or maybe better on than off!!?! ! Billy is fine by the way and he & Banjo still firm friends !! xxxx.”
Fans quickly replied to the video, with one writing: “Oh mummy are you ok. Well done Billy for holding on.”
Another said: “Oh no my heart missed a bit at that footage!! I hope he’s ok bless him!”
A third wrote: “Poor Billy what a shock for him but now looking back probably he also finds it very funny xxx.”
And slightly tickled, a fourth added: “Firstly glad Billy’s ok 👏👏 ….. but honestly one of the best things I’ve ever seen 😂😂😂😂 who hew a 🐎 does Buckeraroo when they pass wind. 🤦🏻♀️🤗🤣🤣🤣 xx.”
She told co-host Ben Shephard: “Billy got thrown from a horse because the horse had really quite bad wind.”
Stunned, Ben gasped: “What?!” She added: “Really bad, I’ve actually got it on film, I’ll find it if you like.
“He had a bit of windy pops. You can actually hear it on the video. He’s fine, everyone’s fine.”
