Cristiano Ronaldo set to STAY at Juventus, Dortmund ‘sign Haaland replacement’, Grealish new contract – transfer news

Manchester United insist they are still fighting to keep Paul Pogba – while Ben White’s Arsenal move could finally go through.

Old Trafford boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke defiantly after claims France midfielder Pogba had rejected a new contract and was close to a £45million switch to PSG.

Solskjaer said: “The talks are ongoing between Paul’s representatives and the club’s representatives.

“All that I’ve ever heard with Paul is he’s looking forward to the season.

“We’ve seen Paul at his best, Paul knows what we feel about it and I’ve enjoyed my time working with him and hopefully we can continue working together.”

It’s also claimed United plan to keep Brighton and Leeds target Dan James – despite Jadon Sancho’s £73m arrival.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are confident their £50m deal for Brighton centre-back White could be completed this weekend.

Elsewhere, Blackburn have rejected a £15m Watford bid for striker Adam Armstrong.

But Aston Villa reportedly believe a £20m approach for Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell is making progress.
