Less than one week after Britney’s bombshell court testimony at Stanley Mosk Courthouse last Wednesday, the singer’s legal teams met again for matters of security.

The 39-year-old’s personal conservator, Jodi, and her attorney are requesting $50,000 be granted to her to provide ample security following increased attention and criticism, The Sun confirmed in last week’s hearing.

However, a source close to the case told The Sun that today’s hearing has been “pushed back to next week.”

“No decision has been made regarding Jodi’s security. It basically comes down to money,” the informant said.

The insider explained that: “Both legal teams need more time to figure out the logistics of distributing the money for Jodi’s security, it’s not as simple as writing a check.”

They continued: “Mathew [Rosengart] wants Jodi to be granted the security if that’s what Britney wants but he’s focused on the bigger picture.

“Mathew has no doubt he’s going to get Britney out of this conservatorship and when that happens, he wants to represent her.

“He wants to help her take appropriate action against her dad and any others who have been part of this abuse.”

Though no decision was made at the hearing today, Britney‘s new lawyer – which she personally chose for the FIRST time ever in her conservatorship – was present at the LA courthouse.

Mathew S. Rosengart,, a former federal prosecutor, addressed Britney fans outside the court on Monday.

He said: “I want to thank you for all of the support you have shown Britney Spears both outside court and throughout the past few years.

“First of all, I want to thank Britney Spears for her courage and her strength. I want to thank Judge Penny for her courtesy and welcoming me onto this case.

“I also want to thank Britney Spears’ fans for their outreach of support. From myself and mostly from Britney, she’s truly been overwhelmed from support coast to coast and around the world.

“The last thing I want to say on this matter is, my firm and I are moving aggressively to file a petition to remove Jamie Spears unless he resigns first.

“We’re working very hard on filing the documents. I have nothing further, thank you,” the high-profile lawyer concluded.

Last week, The Sun confirmed that Judge Penny permitted the hiring of Britney’s legal choice, Mathew, to represent her for the first time.

Following the ruling, Britney told the court in Los Angeles that she wanted Jamie to be charged with conservatorship abuse.

On the day of the hearing, a source alleged that the lawyer is “confident” that he will be able to free Britney from her “abusive” situation.

An insider claimed of Mathew: “He’s absolutely confident he will get Britney out of this mess. He would not have taken this case if he wasn’t positive they’d win.

“He knows it’s going to be a challenge but he fully believes they have enough evidence to prove Britney no longer needs a conservatorship.

“He has been intensely preparing for today’s hearing and is ready to make some moves to get this process started. To him and Britney, it’s now a matter of when, not if,” they revealed.
