BRITNEY Spears’ fans called for “Free Britney” after shocking “abuse” claims surfaced in her documentary Framing Britney Spears as well as in the conservatorship court hearing.
The pop star was recently in court to speak for herself in hopes of gaining control back in her life.
Fans have rushed to social media to show their support for the iconic hitmaker, as they have shared various words of encouragement.
“This sweet and beautiful soul did nothing to deserve what has been done to her. BELIEVE BRITNEY. we love you Britney Spears,” one person tweeted.
At her court hearing this week, Britney compared her “abusive” conservatorship to sex trafficking as she spoke out for the first time since her public breakdown in 2007, causing the star’s mother to be “concerned.”
She exclaimed she is “not a slave” and said she is “so angry” she wants to “sue” her family for years of “abuse.”
The singer addressed the court by video as her dad, Jamie, and mom, Lynne, also joined in.

HOW BRITNEY’S CONSERVATORSHIP IS TIED TO DISABILITY RIGHTS
Author Liz Plank shared statistics on the disability rights movement in relation to Britney’s conservatorship.
“Can’t believe britney could lose access to her own kids? Mothers with disabilities have removal rates that can be as high as 80%,” Plank tweeted.
“13% of parents with physical disabilities report experiencing discrimination in custody cases because of it,” the author went on.
“Can’t believe britney couldn’t see her boyfriend? It’s extremely common for the families of people with disabilities to control their relationships, and many people with disabilities can’t even marry by fear of losing benefits or health care,” Plank added.
‘I WOULD NEVER SPEAK OUT’ JAMIE LYNN SNAPS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Jamie Lynn responded to a social media comment saying should would rather “take all the hate” as the Spears family drama unfolds.
In what appears to be an Instagram comment, one person said: “You guys (the family) need to speak out and clarify all these assumptions. I love you, but around this sensitive situation some clarification is needed for both sides. People need to understand, not assume.”
Jamie Lynn, who has since disabled comments, responded: “I would never speak out just to clarify things to the public, when the person it pertains to does not what that to happen. I’d rather take all the hate, then speak about someone elses personal matter, that they want to be kept private.”
BRITNEY FANS BASH JAMIE LYNN ON TWITTER
Britney’s army of fans came after her sister, Jamie Lynn, on Twitter.
“To think they are her family and only put out a relationship so they get money – disgusting,” one person said.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD ISSUES STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF BRITNEY
Planned Parenthood Federation of America president and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson released a statement in support of Britney.
“It is incredibly distressing to hear the trauma that Britney Spears has been through — including the appalling news that she has not been able to remove her own IUD,” the statement reads.
“We stand in solidarity with Britney and all women who face reproductive coercion. Your reproductive health is your own — and no one should make decisions about it for you. Every person should have the ability to make their own decisions about their bodies and exercise bodily autonomy,” Johnson went on.
SPEARS WANTS TO HAVE MORE KIDS
Spears said on Wednesday that she wants to have her IUD birth control device removed, but her conservator would not allow her to.
“I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant,” Britney said.
“I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have any more children,” she went on.

The pop star’s dad released a statement following his daughter’s court hearing on Wednesday saying that he “loves” his daughter very much.
Jamie, 68, has allegedly sold his Louisiana family home where he raised Bryan, 44, Britney, 39, Jamie Lynn, 30.

“I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right.

WENDY WILLIAMS CHANGES OPINION ON CONSERVATORSHIP
Wendy Williams seems to have changed her opinion on the conservatorship battle, as she previously defended Jamie during a February episode of her talk show.
After watching the Framing Britney Spears doc, Wendy told her viewers: “I think that her father is a good man… I’ve heard that she still needs to be controlled, and she needs to have someone that’s controlling her finances, and controlling who she is friends with and where she goes and what time she’s coming in, and don’t drive a car.
“And if you do make sure that security is with you then they can take the wheel in case you can’t and you’re not such a good driver. I feel bad for her. It made me very very sad…. I want to see Britney get well and then she’s still young enough and beautiful enough to come back on the scene and captivate all of us again. She’s that girl.”
WHEN DID JAMIE LYNN FIRST APPEAR ON SCREEN?
Jamie Lynn first appeared as the younger version of Britney Spears’ character in the 2002 movie Crossroads.
“I love my little sister and I am overprotective with her, and I don’t mind saying that,” Britney told Real Access after the 2002 film came out.
“My sister is a handful. We are so different. It’s so funny—actually, she would be a lot better in this business than I am. Like her personality, she is Miss Diva. She is so full of herself, it’s so cute.”

To which he replied: “Well, I’m just going to the gym making sure I’m enjoying my day, because you have to wear a mask nowadays.”
Sam was then asked: “What are your expectations of the hearing? How’s it gonna go?”
Avoiding the question, Sam, who has been dating Britney since the pair met on the set of her Slumber Party video, commented: “My expectations are to gain some muscle, go to the gym and just to feel better.”
TWITTER FANS SPECULATE ABOUT TECH PROBLEMS AT HEARING
The hearing got off to a rocky start, as technical difficulties forced the event to start late.
A number of fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the delay.
However, someone present in court claimed he heard Britney whisper “it’s not technical difficulties.”
